Game On - Blend Onsets

A fun way to wrap learning to read with some friendly competition!

Skill Development: Reinforce onset and rime blending by targeting one skill at a time. A key step to fostering confidence in decoding words.

Object: Game On is played much like War. One player reads the onset sound, the other reads the rime sounds, and the first one to blend the sounds together to correctly read the word wins the round. Player with the most cards at the end of the game wins. * Words created may or may not create real words.

**This deck is designed to be used in conjunction with our rime decks. Be sure to order one or more rime decks to accompany this deck.
